The requirements of having the proper slot available to recover, and having to cast a divination spell (of which there are only 16) make this of fairly limited use. You convert raw materials into products of the same material. For example, you can fabricate a wooden bridge from a clump of trees, a rope from a patch of hemp, and clothes from flax or wool. It does seem odd to me that the only class that can cast Augury is a Cleric... This plays more into the dichotomy between classes. A lot of wizard divination powers are more in the league of either detecting magical things or are more in the scope of psychic powers.

Expert Divination. Beginning at 10th level, casting divination spells comes so easily to you that it expends only a fraction of your spellcasting efforts. When you cast a divination spell of 2nd level or higher using a spell slot, you regain one expended spell slot.
